Principal's Message

Dear Saint Joseph School Community,

My name is Kassie Pierinelli and I am thrilled to be the new Principal at Saint Joseph School. I have served as Principal of The Felician School for Exceptional Children in Lodi, NJ for the past two years, and was a teacher in both private and public schools, including preschool, resource room, inclusion, and self-contained special education classrooms. I graduated from Seton Hall University and earned my M.A. in Educational Leadership, Management, and Policy. I am committed to ensuring that all students learn to their maximum potential. I am also a firm believer in fostering innovation through collaboration with teachers, staff, students, and families.

I have been working closely with Dr. Valenti and the faculty and staff at Saint Joseph School to ensure a smooth reopening for September. Throughout the entire planning process, my number one priority is maintaining a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered learning environment for all.

I would like to share my alma mater’s motto with all of you: Hazard Zet Forward. This motto is a combination of Norman French and archaic English that translates to “whatever the peril, ever forward.” As we go through this school year, I’d like to encourage all of you to keep this motto close at heart. Whatever comes our way this year, know that we will get through it together. The SJS spirit is alive and well, and I am confident that the love and support I immediately experienced as I assumed my role as Principal is what makes SJS a very special place for your child to learn and grow.

As mentioned earlier, I am a firm believer in collaboration. Please feel free to reach out to introduce yourself or share any questions, comments, concerns, or ideas. You can contact me via email, pierinellik@sjsusa.org or phone, 201-261-2388 x 40 .  I look forward to meeting the students and their families throughout the school year.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Kassie M. Pierinelli

Principal
