Colette Vail has been the principal of St. Joseph School since 1997. She earned a Master's Degree in Catholic School Leadership from Boston College and has ministered in Catholic education for her entire career. In 2003, Mrs. Vail was honored by both the National Catholic Education Association and the United States Department of Education as a National Distinguished Principal. This is the highest honor that any school principal can attain. If you ask today, however, she will tell you that being the principal of St. Joseph School is an even higher honor. She is married to James Vail, the President of Paramus Catholic High School. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and travel.
