Saint Joseph School, a Blue Ribbon Catholic school in Oradell, NJ, invites families to tour the school and learn about its offerings and the academic advantages provided to students. In this time of COVID-19 interested families may call the school for an appointment: (201) 261-2388 (x40).   


Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 provide both half and full day options, Kindergarten through Grade 8 is full day. Saint Joseph School offers both before and after care for students, as well as hot, nutritious meals. During the tour you will be able to visit the facilities and meet our fully accredited and experienced faculty and staff and also learn about our extracurricular enrichment programs.

Mrs. Pierinelli brings 12+ years of combined classroom and administrative experience to the role, including holding a Masters in Educational Leadership, and a BS in Education with specialization in early childhood (P-3), elementary (K-5), and special education (TOSD).

Registration

The registration process begins with a meeting with Dr. Paula Valenti, School Principal. Once an acceptance has been declared, the registration process can begin. We offer online registration through the Power School Parent Portal; see the links below, and of course, hard copy paper work is also available by visiting us in person.


Toward the end of the school year, prospective students are encouraged to come to Saint Joseph School for a visit, through the “Lancer For A Day” program. There will also be time scheduled for uniform fittings and new student orientation. SJS also offers a uniform exchange program to assist families. 


In order to complete the registration process, the following documents are required:

1. Birth Certificate, (or Passport for international students)

2. Baptismal Certificate

3. Immunization Record

4. School Registration Form and Fees

5. Current Physical - New Jersey requires that all physicals must be done within six months of the start of the new school year

6. Out-of-State or International Students must also have a TB Mantoux test completed within six months of the start of the new school year.
