Hello Parents and Students! Welcome to the Saint Joseph

School Health Office. My name is Nancy Higgins, RN, BSN,

A Bit About Me: My office is located on the first floor of the

main lower school, but I visit the upper school frequently

as needed. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing

from Adelphi University and post bachelor work in school

nursing with certification and health education certification.

I have many years of nursing and school nursing experience.

Our Medical Office Mission Statement: In order to promote

the educational development of your child, physically,

mentally and spiritually, the Saint Joseph School along with

the Archdiocese has established a modern Health Service

Department. It is the policy of this office to stress the healthful

aspects of living and the prevention of illness and disease.

The goal of our Health Services is to promote

optimal health of students, provide a safe environment, maintain positive attitudes

and teach safe healthy practices.

As always all medical information is kept confidential and shared

only with whom the parent/guardian has directed.
